60-Piece Sewing Thread & Bobbin Kit — Polyester Spools and Prewound Bobbins
Review
What’s included: 32 compact polyester spools, each about 33 yards, and 28 metal prewound bobbins with roughly 27 yards wound on each. The bobbins provided are standard Size A, Class 15—compatible with many domestic sewing machines from brands such as Brother, Babylock, Janome, Kenmore and Singer.
Material and construction: All threads are 100% polyester, selected for strength and minimal shrinkage when laundered. The bobbins are metal and flat on both faces to suit most machine bobbin cases and to reduce slipping during use.
Intended use: This assortment is designed to service both machine and hand sewing needs. It covers small repairs, garment hems, light embroidery, appliqué, and home décor accents. The compact spools are handy for travel or for machines that require smaller cones.
Color selection and value: The pack offers a wide range of colors so you’ll rarely need to buy single spools for simple projects. It’s positioned as an economical, all-in-one option for beginners, kids, hobbyists and anyone wanting a portable thread collection.
Pros
- Includes both compact spools and metal prewound bobbins
- 100% polyester thread resists shrinking
- Standard Size A/Class 15 bobbins fit most home machines
Cons

- Spools are small—best for repairs and small projects
VerdictThis set supplies a broad palette of 32 compact polyester spools and 28 metal prewound bobbins sized for standard home machines (Size A, Class 15). Good for repairs, small projects, learners and portable sewing, though packaging and winding quality vary by batch.

Perfect for mini machines and small projects
Needed smaller spools for a mini machine and these worked great. The prewound bobbins ran smoothly in the tiny machine and the spools are roughly an inch tall. Good value for anyone needing compact thread.

Not a storage case—be careful gifting
I assumed it came in the pictured storage box but it arrived in flimsy plastic trays and the outer box. No reusable case, so I returned it.

Thread broke frequently
The thread snapped repeatedly while machine sewing and even broke by hand. Disappointed with durability.

Solid beginner kit with a few packaging drawbacks
Nice selection of colors and the bobbin hues match the spools. Metal, flat bobbins should work with most machines. Thread is a bit heavier but 100% polyester so it handles washing. Spool and bobbin yardage are adequate for small jobs. Would prefer sturdier storage than the thin cardboard box.

Damaged bobbins and loose winding
Arrived in a thin tray without a cover and some bobbins were bent. Several bobbins had messy winding with loose ends that could snag in a machine. The larger spools are smaller than expected. Overall quality felt below what I hoped for.
