VEVOR 2-Frame Manual Honey Extractor with Clear Lid and Adjustable Stand
Review
Compatibility and capacity: This two-frame manual extractor accepts shallow, medium, and deep frames, allowing flexible use across different hive types. It accommodates two frames at a time so you spin one side, flip the frame, then spin the other.
Included components: The unit ships with the stainless steel drum, an acrylic transparent lid to observe extraction, a hand crank with ergonomic anti-slip handle, an integrated honey gate/spigot for draining, metal gears housed within a protective casing, and a three-leg height-adjustable stand.
Materials and construction: The barrel and major contact parts are crafted from food-grade stainless steel to ensure safe honey contact. The drum uses a seamless design to reduce leaks and improve durability. Metal gears are enclosed to minimize contamination of the honey during operation.
Stand and dimensions: The extractor sits on a triangular three-leg base designed for stability during use. The legs offer an adjustable height range from 11.81 inches (30 cm) up to 14.96 inches (38 cm) so you can set a comfortable working height.
Operation: Manual extraction is driven by a hand crank that connects to internal gearing to spin the frames. The ergonomic handle helps reduce arm fatigue. After spinning, open the bottom honey gate to drain into your container; some users tip the drum slightly to collect residual honey. The clear lid lets you monitor the frames as they spin.
Pros
- Food-grade stainless steel drum
- Transparent lid for visual monitoring
- Adjustable tripod for flexible working height
Cons
- Tripod legs can feel a bit flexible
- Limited to two frames at a time
- Drain spout may leave some honey behind
VerdictA compact, well-built manual extractor for hobbyist beekeepers. The stainless drum and enclosed gearing keep honey clean while the clear lid makes the process visible. It handles two frames at once and the adjustable three-leg stand gives workable height options. Some users report leg flex and occasional need to tilt to drain every last drop, but overall it’s a reliable, easy-to-assemble unit suit

Harvesting fun for the family
As with many VEVOR items, it delivers solid value. After a year and a second season it still runs perfectly. Ideal for a small number of hives or if you don’t want to invest in a larger or electric extractor. I also use it as a maturator for Warre frames. My kids love turning the crank and enjoy being part of the harvest.

Better built than expected
Assembly was straightforward—attach the legs and crank and it’s ready. Operation is smooth and two-frame capacity stays reasonably balanced. It wobbles if one side is much lighter; a 3–4 frame model would be steadier. I cranked about 75 turns to empty frames. The drain spout sits above the bottom so you may need to tilt to get all the honey. Good choice for a casual hobbyist.

Handy for small-scale beekeeping
Works well for me. It should be bolted to a floor or stout plywood because frames vary in balance and it will wobble otherwise. Still, it’s indispensable for a small operation and cleans up easily. Excellent value for hobby use.

Does the job reliably
Sturdy and simple to put together. Perfect for my first harvest. It sits stable on the floor and only wobbles when maxed out, otherwise solid performance.

Efficient for small hive harvests
Nice manual extractor for small hives. Holds two frames; spin one side then flip for the other. Assembly is easy. The honey gate took some patience to fit but worked fine after. We processed 30 medium frames in roughly 2½ hours. Pleased with the performance.

Returned due to size
Everything else was fine, but the dimensions didn't suit my setup so I returned it.

Solid replacement with quick setup
I lost my old extractor and needed a fast replacement. It arrived mostly ready; from box to spinning in about five minutes. The main drum feels robust and parts fit together cleanly. The gearing spins the barrel with less crank effort than my previous unit. Four frames fit well enough (two brood or four super). Downsides: the legs flex more than I’d like, so I’ll screw it to a plywood base before next season. The brood slots are tight, but overall it’s a good, long-lasting replacement.

Works great for a few hives
Early in flow season this has been far better than old manual methods. It arrived almost assembled; we only added the legs, crank handle, and spigot. Bolting it down helps, but I stabilized it by standing on one foot while spinning. Set up took about 20 minutes. My routine is spinning each frame multiple directions and flipping; sometimes I tilt to get every last drop. It’s much better than hand-squeezing comb.
