7-in-1 Steel Hive Tool with Wooden Handle — Beekeeping Pry & Scraper
Review
Includes one 7-in-1 hive tool engineered to replace several single-purpose implements. The tool consolidates a scraper, J-hook, frame lifter, pry bar, nail puller, paint scraper and queen excluder into one compact device so you carry fewer items to the apiary.
Constructed from high-strength stainless steel, the bar is intended to withstand routine leverage and scraping tasks without bending. The metalwork is finished to provide a functional scraping edge and multiple leverage points for different hive tasks.
The handle is crafted from solid wood and shaped to fit comfortably in the hand. The ergonomic profile offers a secure grip that helps reduce hand fatigue and improves control when levering apart tightly stuck hive boxes or removing frames while wearing gloves.
The tool uses a dual-head layout with multiple functions concentrated on each end—four operations on one side and three on the opposite—so you can change tactics quickly during inspections, from cleaning propolis to prying and lifting frames.
Overall length is 10.8 inches and the tool weighs approximately 0.96 pounds, a balance meant to provide enough reach and leverage without feeling bulky. It’s suitable for both novice beekeepers and seasoned users who need a reliable, all-purpose hive implement.

Bent on first use
Snapped out of shape the first time I tried to pry a stubborn frame. If you need very heavy-duty steel, consider spending more for a thicker gauge tool.

Comfortable grip and effective scraper
Solid tool — the wooden handle is more comfortable than metal ones I’ve used. The hooked section and bent fulcrum work well for levering frames without digging into adjacent ones. It arrived a touch over-sharpened with a small burr; a quick pass with a file smoothed it and now the scraper works great.
