Double Camping Hammock — Parachute Nylon, 500 lb Capacity
Review
What you get: a double hammock that folds into its sewn-in storage sack, plus two tree-safe webbing straps with multiple anchor loops and two locking carabiners for hanging. The straps feature 18+1 separate loops so you can clip in and fine-tune height and tension without tying knots.
Materials and build: the bed is made from lightweight parachute nylon (210–217T range) with triple interlocking stitching along stress points to resist fraying and tearing. The fabric is breathable, dries quickly after use, and is straightforward to clean by rinsing and air drying.
Size and capacity: when opened the double hammock measures about 120 inches long by 78 inches wide and supports up to 500 pounds, roomy enough for two adults or extra space for one. The packed dimensions are roughly 8.3 x 4.7 x 4.7 inches and the hammock weighs about 1.8 pounds, making it easy to stash in a backpack or travel kit.
How to use: clip the carabiners to the desired loops on the straps, wrap the straps around trees or solid anchors, and adjust to your preferred sag and height. Suitable for camping, hiking, beach trips, backyard relaxing, or mounting on a stand. The lightweight construction and included hardware simplify setup and teardown for frequent use.
Pros
- Generous double size with 500 lb capacity
- Fast, knot-free hanging using looped straps and carabiners
- Lightweight and packs into an attached carry sack
Cons
- Thin fabric may feel less structured for some users
- Straps can twist during wrapping if not aligned
- No integrated bug net or rain tarp included
VerdictA roomy, travel-ready double hammock that balances comfort and durability. The parachute-nylon body and reinforced stitching give confidence under load, while included tree-friendly straps and carabiners make hanging quick and adjustable. Great for campers, hikers, beach days, or backyard lounging.
