10-Pack Ultra-Thin Adhesive Magnetic Cabinet Catches — Stainless Steel
Review
What's included: Ten magnetic cabinet catches, each consisting of a single magnet sealed inside a stainless steel housing, plus strong double-sided adhesive backing on every piece.
Materials and size: The housings are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to withstand damp areas. Each catch measures approximately 0.12 inches thick, providing a very slim seam so doors close cleanly.
How it works: Peel the adhesive liner, press the catch onto the cleaned mounting surface and align the mating surface on the door or drawer. The internal magnet holds the door closed once the two parts contact.
Installation tip: For best adhesion, clean and dry the surface, press firmly for several seconds, then allow the tape to set — wait about one hour before putting stress on the bond to ensure full adhesion.
Applications: Designed for cabinets, drawers, cupboard doors, bathroom cabinets, kitchen units, lids, RV compartments, sliding doors, duette blinds and closets. The stainless steel build helps resist cracking and corrosion for use in humid conditions.
Pros
- No-drill installation
- Very low 0.12 in profile
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steel
Cons
- Adhesive requires cure time
- Single magnet may be marginal for heavy solid-wood doors
- Best on clean, flat surfaces only
VerdictA convenient no-drill solution for keeping doors and drawers shut. The stainless steel housings resist moisture and the 0.12-inch profile is unobtrusive. Adhesive installation is simple but needs time to bond; for very heavy solid-wood doors you may need extra magnets or a mechanical fastener.

Good option for light to medium doors
These adhesive catches are a tidy, no-drill fix for cabinets and drawers that won’t stay fully closed. I put them on kitchen cabinets and a bathroom vanity; once the tape set they held up to daily use and remained nearly invisible under the door gap. The stainless housings look clean. For standard laminate or thin-wood doors one catch is usually enough; very heavy solid-wood doors might need two per door or a stronger solution. Be patient at install time: give the adhesive the recommended cure period before testing the pull.
