1/2 in Overlay Brushed Nickel Semi-Wrap Cabinet Hinges — 25 Pairs
Review
Overview
These are semi-wrap, partial-conceal 1/2" overlay cabinet hinges sold as 50 pieces (25 complete pairs). They are made with a brushed/satin nickel finish and designed for face-frame cabinet doors.
Construction & Components
Each hinge contains a metal body with a spring for the self-closing action and comes with small silicone bumpers to soften the close. The kit also includes a mix of matching screws intended for both the door and frame mounting locations.
Dimensions & Fit
Specified as 1/2 inch overlay for common face-frame installations. Check the included diagram for exact hole spacing and measurements to confirm fit with your existing doors and frames.
Use & Installation
Intended for kitchen, bathroom, pantry, laundry, or general household cabinetry. Installation is straightforward for DIYers: many users can reuse existing holes. Keep a compatible Phillips driver and consider having a few replacement screws available if needed.
Guarantee
The hinges are promoted for daily use and come with a short satisfaction window to address defects or fit issues.
Pros
- Modern brushed/satin nickel finish
- Spring-assisted self-closing with bumpers
- Includes screws for door and frame
Cons
- Screw types and quality can be inconsistent
- Lightweight metal construction on some parts
- Holes may not match older hinge patterns
VerdictSolid, budget-friendly semi-concealed hinges for face-frame cabinet doors. They offer a modern brushed nickel look, a spring-assisted self-close at smaller angles, and silicone pads for quieter operation. Most buyers find them straightforward to install using existing holes; however, screw consistency varies between sets, so having a few spare fasteners on hand is wise. Overall a reliable option f

Simple, effective upgrade
Good value and gave my freshly painted cabinets a cleaner look. No issues during install.

Well made and closes smoothly
The hinges feel solid and the brushed finish looks great next to my other hardware. Installation was straightforward and the self-closing action is quiet thanks to the bumpers. I ended up with two extras since I only needed eight, but otherwise very happy.

Nice aesthetic improvement
Bought these to refresh the kitchen. They fit well and the finish complements the cabinets.

Good match after cabinet refinishing
Measured carefully and these matched the old hinges functionally. Some screw hole locations differ but they sit inside the cabinet so it’s not visible.

Holes needed adjustment but worked fine
The hinge holes didn’t line up with my originals, so I had to drill new ones, but the hardware itself performs well after installation.

Material quality is disappointing
Lightweight construction and flimsy assembly caused losses for me. I won’t reorder these.

Far better than big-box options
These were much more consistent than the cheap ones I tried from a hardware store. Hole placement and build quality made doors hang evenly.

Excellent option for bulk replacements
Searched for this hinge style and was relieved to find these. Good build and finish for the cost; no complaints after installing them throughout the kitchen.

Exact replacement — pay attention to screw types
They replaced my old hinges perfectly and the finish matches other hardware. Two screw styles are supplied on purpose — countersunk for door, domed for frame. Use the proper screwdriver tip and hand-tighten to avoid stripping.

Great result but watch the screws
Replaced old brass hinges and the satin nickel matches nicely. Note: screws in the packets vary; some are flat head, some rounded. Using the correct screw positions matters to avoid closing problems.

Hinges are good, screws less so
Hinges themselves seem durable, but the supplied screws are inconsistent in length and head style across packets. Plan to buy better screws if you want uniformity.
