SW208 3" Bluetooth Hi‑Fi Bookshelf Speakers with 24‑Bit DAC
Review
A compact Hi‑Fi bookshelf speaker system designed for desktop and small-room listening. The pair includes a powered main speaker and a passive satellite, offering a 2.0 stereo setup with built‑in amplification rated at 30W per channel.
The drivers are 3‑inch units constructed with carbon fiber diaphragms and a multi‑layer voice‑coil design developed by the manufacturer. This combination aims to produce warm, full mids, firm low end and clear treble while maintaining stability and long life across varied environments.
For connections you get Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless streaming, a USB input that feeds the internal 24‑bit DAC to accept digital audio directly, and a 3.5mm AUX jack for analog sources. The speakers support plug‑and‑play operation and typically ship with the necessary USB and AUX cables.
Controls are located on the side of the main speaker and include a master volume knob plus separate treble and bass trims so you can fine‑tune the tonal balance to your space or listening material.
A built‑in noise suppression and intelligent filtering circuit minimizes hiss and keeps the system quiet when idle. The standby behavior is energy‑conscious and designed to meet common energy efficiency standards, helping the speakers disappear when not in use.
Pros
- Clear, warm voicing from carbon fiber drivers
- Multiple inputs: Bluetooth 5.0, USB (24‑bit DAC) and 3.5mm AUX
- Tone controls let you tailor bass and treble
Cons
- Limited deep‑bass output without a subwoofer
- Volume behavior can be uneven across inputs
- Documentation and mode switching could be clearer
VerdictThese SW208 bookshelf speakers deliver an impressive tuning for their size: warm mids, clear highs and surprisingly solid bass from 3" carbon fiber cones. They offer flexible connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, USB with an internal 24‑bit DAC, and 3.5mm AUX), front control knobs for volume, treble and bass, and a quiet standby mode. They’re a strong pick for desktop use, small rooms, and anyone upgrading

Surprisingly loud
Extremely loud for their dimensions — I was impressed by how much volume they can produce without strain.

Impressive sound and simple setup
Strong, clear audio and easy to get running with three connection choices: 3.5mm, USB and Bluetooth. Included cables and side controls for treble, bass and volume make them plug‑and‑play. Attractive finish and plenty of output for a desktop rig.

Clear sound and strong bass
Transparent mids and a punchy low end. Bass can be raised or lowered with the controls, and overall these deliver excellent performance for their size.

Well built with a silky presentation
Surprisingly smooth and refined for such small enclosures. Heft and finish feel sturdy and they fit nicely beside a 27" monitor. Bluetooth paired quickly on Windows and the 3.5mm input worked flawlessly. Would buy again.

Solid and straightforward
Quick to install and they perform reliably. Not ultra‑refined audiophile gear, but more than adequate for general listening. Packaging arrived securely. Would recommend for everyday use.

Great for small rooms and classical music
Excellent clarity for classical pieces in a small office. Moving them wider and angling them toward my listening position improved soundstage dramatically. For bass‑heavy genres you’ll want a dedicated subwoofer.

Big upgrade over monitor speakers
Clearly superior to built‑in monitor audio. Tweeter looks prominent but the overall balance is pleasing; bass is respectable for the size and the volume is ample for a desk. Solid construction and understated design.

Good performance with AUX
A little quieter when fed via AUX, but I boosted the input and they handled higher volumes without distortion. Solid little speakers.

Great budget desktop option
Surprisingly good sound for an affordable pair. Clear audio, decent bass for small speakers, and enough headroom for gaming, music and videos. Easy to set up and looks great on a desk.

Smooth tone but could be louder
Very clean, natural mids and highs from a compact cabinet. They look good and are easy to position, but sound drops off noticeably when angled away and they don’t reach very high volumes. I rated them four stars mainly because louder output is needed for my setup.

Great sound and stylish white finish
I was really pleased by the sound from such compact cabinets. The bass hits harder than expected and the white color fits my living room decor. Bluetooth connection was quick and reliable.

Firmware and manual need help; USB mode odd
Design feels budget‑oriented and the documentation is hard to parse. In USB mode the front volume knob doesn’t always control output the same way it does in other modes, which was frustrating. Mode selection and behavior aren’t well explained in the paperwork.
