Mini CW Double-Paddle Morse Key — Aluminum Portable Hand Key (Blue S)
Review
Adjustable rebound and travel
Spring stiffness and contact travel are both user-adjustable without needing extra tools. The design lets you fine-tune the return force and the throw independently, so operators can set a comfortable tactile response that suits their sending style.
Dual magnetic return and anti-slip base
The key uses an up-and-down magnetic circuit to provide a strong, consistent return. Four silicone foot pads under the base increase grip, reducing slide on smooth surfaces and protecting tabletops and equipment from scratches.
Robust aluminum construction
The main body and base are crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with an anodized finish for improved corrosion resistance and wear protection. The compact “S” size keeps the key light and easy to stow in a pack or radio case.
Precision internals and corrosion resistance
Moving parts run on NMB bearings imported from Japan, and all fasteners are 304 stainless steel for long-term rust resistance. The mechanism is designed for reliable operation in field or shack environments.
What’s included and typical use
The package arrives with the paddle key, a clear plastic storage box and a cloth-wrapped 1/8" (3.5mm) audio/patch cable for connection to keyers or transceivers. This small key is aimed at ham radio operators, newcomers learning CW, and portable activators (POTA, SOTA, LOTA) or casual indoor use.

- Durable anodized 6061-T6 aluminum body
- Non-slip silicone feet for stable operation
Cons

Tough build for beginners
New to Morse and working on a lighter fist. The build looks rugged enough for field use. I might soften the spring later; a small protective case would be useful.

Świetny mały klucz
Bardzo solidny i stabilny, mały ale na tyle ciężki że się nie przesuwa. Dobrze nadaje się do pracy w CW.

Small but substantial
Compact, weighted, and performs very well for a travel key.

Well engineered and sturdy
Construction feels excellent — solid anodized metal, not flimsy plastic. Smooth, precise action and easy access to the tension and travel thumbscrews. Each adjuster locks in place. It arrived in a clear box with a nice cloth-wrapped 1/8" cable.

Great small straight/key paddle
Wanted a straight key option alongside my paddles. The blue unit is well built and stays put without extra weight. I tightened the gap for minimal motion and was able to answer a POTA station right away after slowing my speed slightly. Solid little unit.

Perfect travel/relearn companion
I hadn’t sent CW since 1980 and needed an affordable way back in. This small key is adjustable, solid and doesn’t wander on the table. Easy to use for beginners and long-time CW ops alike — it just performs reliably.
