Frosted Static-Cling Window Privacy Film Kit — Removable, UV-Blocking
Review
Round-the-clock privacy with gentle daylight: This frosted vinyl film uses static cling to obscure views from both sides at any hour while still allowing natural light to filter through. The finish produces a soft, even glow rather than harsh light, creating a calm, decorative look for living spaces.
High UV and heat reduction: The film blocks up to 96% of harmful ultraviolet rays and provides infrared rejection to help lower heat gain and glare. That protection helps preserve furniture and flooring and keeps interiors more comfortable on sunny days.
Tools and installation: The sheet applies using water—no adhesive is necessary. The package includes a squeegee, a utility knife (color may vary), and an empty spray bottle to simplify the wet-install method. An included manual and video guide walk through trimming the film to size and smoothing it for a clean finish.
Clean removal and reuse: Because it clings rather than sticks, the film lifts off without leaving adhesive residue. It can be repositioned and reused multiple times, making it suitable for renters, dorms, or temporary projects where nonpermanent treatment is preferred.
Versatile applications: Cut-to-fit sheets let you turn clear glass into frosted privacy glass for bathrooms, bedrooms, front doors, cabinets, office meeting rooms, and pet viewing areas. The material is easy to trim to length and shape, giving a professional appearance when installed carefully.

Love the light and the privacy
Keeps light flowing while providing privacy. Comes with the basic tools and takes a bit of time to remove air pockets, but works well when you follow the wet-install steps.

Handy and versatile
Bought a second roll to extend coverage on my glass door and it had plenty of length. Installation was straightforward—clean glass, wet the film, smooth with a card. Quality has held up so far.

Attractive but somewhat see-through
Looks very nice in our kitchen and was simple to put up. Stickiness is good, but it’s not as opaque as I expected — you can still see through in certain lighting.

Attractive, opaque and easy to fit
The film looks great, blocks view well and adheres reliably. Read the instructions and allow time for cleaning and installation; I finished two windows in about 30 minutes.
