Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Extra Strength Refill Bundle — Cat Litter
Review
What’s included: a supply of scented Zeolite Breeze pellets and disposable Ion multi-cat absorbent pads designed to work with Purina’s Breeze litter system.
Pellet material and performance: the litter uses Zeolite mineral pellets that are non-clumping and engineered to stay on the surface. Their structure dehydrates solid waste, making scooping straightforward, and the formulation is described as producing minimal airborne dust (claimed 99.9% dust-reducing), which helps reduce tracking and mess on floors and paws. The pellets carry a light, fresh scent to help keep the area smelling cleaner between changes.
Pad technology and use: the Ion pads are super-absorbent, disposable pads that sit beneath the pellet tray to trap moisture and neutralize urine odors. They are intended for multi-cat households and are formulated to control ammonia odors for up to seven days with two cats. Pads lock in liquid and help keep the litter surface drier, simplifying routine maintenance.
How to use and maintenance: fill the pellet tray with the Zeolite beads, place a fresh Ion pad in the pad tray, and position everything in your Breeze-compatible litter box base. Scoop solid waste from the pellet surface daily, replace the disposable pad on the schedule that fits your household (weekly is the typical guideline for two cats), and refresh pellets as needed. The system is made to cut down on litter tracking and make cleaning more predictable and sanitary.
Pros
- Low-dust, non-clumping Zeolite pellets
- Disposable super-absorbent Ion pads
- Controls ammonia odor up to seven days for two cats
Cons
- Pellets require daily removal of solids
- Pads must be replaced regularly based on household use
- XL tray design lacks a secure locking mechanism
VerdictA practical refill option for Breeze litter systems: scented Zeolite pellets reduce dust and minimize tracking while dehydrating solids for easy scooping, and super-absorbent Ion pads capture urine and control ammonia odor for up to seven days for two cats. Good choice for households that want simpler, cleaner daily maintenance.

Perfect for a picky cat
We switched about a year ago for a finicky cat and it’s been ideal. Easy to clean, pleasant scent, and it hides odors well. One very happy cat and an owner relieved by the simpler upkeep.

Fresh scent lasts about a month
Everything needed for the month was in the box and it was simple to set up. The scent stays pleasant for weeks and it’s great for multiple cats. I signed up for auto-ship to avoid running out.

Huge improvement for litter cleanup
Switched to the Breeze system and it made a big difference. Less tracking, easier daily cleanup, and the pads simplify maintenance. Odor control is noticeably better and I haven’t had any leaks. Clean, convenient, and I recommend it.

Convenient if you already use Breeze
If you own the Breeze litter system these refills fit perfectly. They control odors and cut down on cleaning time. My cat seems content with it, which is all that matters to me as the scooper.

Best system — no going back
Once you try Breeze it’s hard to return to clay litter. My cats accepted it immediately. I scoop solids daily and for two cats I change the pad once a week. Pellets last a long time and don’t track like the old litter. Highly recommend the complete system.

Cat-approved long-term solution
My cat has used this system her whole life and refuses to change. The pellets make scooping quick with no dust clouds, and swapping pads is effortless. Odor control stays steady. I’ve subscribed for years — reliable and low-maintenance.

Smart investment for multi-cat homes
I’ve tried many litters and this system is the best for my four cats. No noticeable urine or fecal smells, and cleaning is focused on solids while urine is absorbed by pellets or the pad. Great for a multi-cat household.

Worth trying — no regrets
I hadn’t seen these before and it turned out to be a cleaner, more sanitary option. With two cats I replace pads twice a week and refresh litter on weekends. Pellets hide odors well and the scented option works for us. Only minor downside is needing regular supplies, but it’s been worth it.

Helped with strong odors for parents
Bought for elderly parents who struggled with odor in a regular box. This system made a clear improvement and even the weekly cleaner noticed. I swap the pad slightly more often than the one-week guideline, but the reduced smell makes it worthwhile.

Love the XL box but some fit issues
I have several Breeze boxes and bought the XL for my large cat who scatters pellets. The system works well, but the XL tray doesn’t lock onto the lower tray — it just rests on top. Also the entry is on the long side, which makes fitting it inside some cabinets tricky.
