Plateful Titanium Pro 10-Inch Frying Pan with Lid & Tagine Insert
Review
Uncoated titanium cooking surface: The pan's interior is made from SGS-certified titanium, providing a naturally smooth, chemical-free surface without PTFE, PFOA, or PFAS coatings. The hammered titanium finish resists scratching and avoids the degradation issues of coated nonstick cookware.
High-temperature performance: Constructed to tolerate oven use up to 750°F, this pan handles high-heat searing and consistent browning. The multi-layer base—combining titanium surface, aluminum for heat distribution, and a ferrous outer layer—ensures even heating and makes the pan compatible with induction cooktops.
What’s included and size notes: The set ships with a tempered glass lid that has a steam vent and a tagine-style insert for braising or slow cooking. The handle arrives detached and secures with two bolts (a small wrench is included). The listing is most commonly seen in a 10-inch diameter; double-check sizing if you expected a different size.
Construction and weight: The handle is triangle-shaped for grip comfort and fastens in a way that does not penetrate the cooking surface, preserving the interior finish. Unfitted, the body weighs about 2 lb 2 oz; with the lid it approaches roughly 3.5 lb, offering a substantial but manageable feel on the stovetop.
Care and use: Treat the pan as an uncoated metal surface: preheat before adding oil, use moderate heat for delicate foods and higher heat for searing, and clean soon after cooking. It is dishwasher-safe, stands up to metal utensils, and is engineered for long-term daily use in busy kitchens.
Pros
- True uncoated titanium surface resists wear
- Oven-safe to very high temperatures (750°F)
- Induction-ready with even heat distribution
Cons
- Not pure titanium throughout—composite base needed for induction
- Handle requires minor assembly
- Size can be mistaken for a different diameter
VerdictA durable, uncoated titanium skillet designed for high-heat searing and routine use. It combines a pure titanium cooking surface with a composite base for induction and even heat, comes with a glass lid and tagine option, and tolerates metal utensils and dishwashing. Best for cooks who want a long-lasting, chemical-free alternative to traditional nonstick pans.

Solid performer, but not pure titanium throughout
Cooking results are excellent: even heat, no hotspots, comfortable riveted handle. A magnet sticks to the body, so the pan uses ferrous layers for induction—expected, but worth noting if you expected full-pure titanium.

Be careful about the size you order
Good construction and cooking performance, but confirm the diameter before buying—there can be confusion between 10" and 12" listings.

Takes a bit of learning, rewards are worth it
Comes with thorough instructions that explain preheating and oil use. Assembly was quick, the lid seals well, and after proper preheat my salmon developed a great crust and finished evenly.

Well made, thoughtfully engineered
Body alone weighs about 2 lb 2 oz and about 3.5 lb with lid. The triangular handle bolts on without penetrating the interior, and the composite base (aluminum + steel) gives good temperature distribution. Clean with oil or butter and wash soon after cooking.

Heats evenly, lid is handy, cleanup is simple
The handle arrived detached but tightened securely with the included wrench. It heats like stainless steel on my older electric range, the glass lid lets you monitor food, and hash browns and bacon crisped without sticking. Wiped clean easily afterward.

Great addition for cooks used to stainless and cast iron
We switched from stainless and cast iron and wanted a lightweight, even-heating option. This titanium pan arrived looking sturdy and performs like a well-made metal pan—easy to heat, forgiving, and much simpler to care for than many coated nonstick options.
