Enameled Cast Iron Moroccan Tagine Pot with Ceramic Cone Lid — 3.3 QT
Review
Steam circulation for layered flavors: The cone-shaped ceramic lid promotes continuous condensation and drip-back, allowing ingredients to baste themselves while simmering. Use it for Moroccan chicken, vegetable stews, lamb, or any recipe that benefits from gentle, extended cooking.
Sturdy enameled base with a glazed lid: This set includes one enameled cast iron base and one ceramic conical closed lid. The cast iron bottom is treated with a heat-resistant enamel to resist rust and stand up to frequent use; the lid is handcrafted ceramic with a glazed finish to manage steam and aroma.
Size and capacity: The pot holds approximately 3.3 quarts, roomy enough for 3–4 servings depending on portions. The deep base accommodates meats, root vegetables, and liquids for long braises without overflowing.
Versatile heat compatibility: Designed to be used on induction cooktops, gas burners, and in the oven. The cast iron bottom stores and distributes heat evenly for steady simmering; the ceramic cone keeps moisture cycling to maintain tenderness and nutrients.
From kitchen tool to serving piece: Finished with a matte black enameled base and a decorative blue-gradient ceramic lid, the tagine is intended to move from stovetop or oven straight to the table. A practical, easy-grip knob on the lid lets you check food without fuss.
Safe, gift-ready cookware: The ceramic glaze is free from lead and cadmium. The tagine makes a thoughtful present for housewarmings, weddings, or holidays, offering both functionality and cultural charm. Customer support is available if the item arrives damaged or incomplete.
Pros
- Excellent heat retention and even cooking
- Works on induction, gas, and in the oven
- Attractive enough to serve from directly
Cons
- Heavier than clay or nonstick alternatives
- Requires basic care like seasoning and hand-washing
- Ceramic lid is more delicate than the cast iron base
VerdictThis tagine combines a robust enameled cast iron base and a glazed ceramic cone lid to deliver even, low-and-slow cooking and impressive heat retention. It works on induction, gas, and in the oven, and serves beautifully at the table. A durable, attractive option for anyone wanting authentic-style slow-cooked dishes without the fragility of unglazed clay.

Ideal for serving biryani
Bought the blue one to use on the dining table. I warmed and served biryani in it—kept everything warm and moist. Haven’t tried cooking in it yet, but it’s perfect for presentation.

Did not seal properly
The ceramic lid was uneven on the bottom and didn’t form a seal with the base. I was concerned about the enamel finish too and returned it.

Brings Marrakech memories home
After cooking tagine in Marrakesh, I wanted a reliable pot for home. This enameled set with a vented domed lid is lead-free and lets us make hearty tagines on the stove and serve straight from the pot. A lovely reminder of travels.

Solid, long-lasting construction
Sturdy cast iron that works on induction, gas, or over coals. Cleans easily with warm water and mild soap; oil before storing like other cast iron. Food tastes great and the build feels like it will last.

Nice appearance, delivery was fine
The item arrived in perfect condition and looks great. The listing mentions an enameled base but mine appeared like regular cast iron; instructions were tucked in the packaging. I’ll try cooking this weekend.

Large, heavy, good value
Generous, deep cast iron base holds plenty of ingredients. Solid weight and quality—heavy but worth the price. Attractive design.

Ready to use after a quick wash
Came ready to cook after washing with warm water and mild soap. It has about a 3.3L/3.3QT capacity—slightly larger than my usual stock pot. Nothing sticks and the base cleans up easily; hand wash recommended.

Great for one-pot meals
Good size for 4–5 people and works on both stovetop and oven. Easy to make tasty one-pot meals and simple to clean.

Handsome blue-black tagine, solid build
Lovely blue-black finish and a good size for about four people. I seasoned the cast iron base and cured it in the oven. The heavy iron base and ceramic lid stand up well to long, slow cooking on a stovetop or in an oven—much sturdier than my old clay tagine.
