    Big and practical, but needs tweaks

    Good capacity and useful under‑cabinet storage, but the back panel is two pieces so there’s a gap that I had to staple and tape shut. A few parts arrived cracked and the latches are weak — I added child‑proof catches. Otherwise fairly straightforward to assemble and a decent value for the space.

    Massive headaches during assembly

    Many wood pieces arrived cracked and most of the 'holes' for screws weren’t predrilled, so each screw had to be forced in by hand. The base and main cage went up okay, but the back panels and especially the lid were maddening — practically needed four people to fit it how the manual describes. The protective film on the acrylic is hard to remove in spots. After hours of struggling it’s a spacious result and the lower cabinet is really nice, but building it was far from straightforward and I worry about cleaning long term.

    Plenty of room for our hedgehog

    We bought this for our hedgehog and she absolutely loves roaming in it. The lid latches keep our cats away, and the storage below holds extra bedding and food. Very happy with the purchase.

    Gave up on assembly

    Assembly was so difficult I ended up returning it and buying a different model. Not for someone who wants a quick setup.

    Matches the photos

    Exactly what I expected from the pictures. Lots of storage and it looks nice in any room. If you aren’t comfortable with assembly, line up some extra time or help.

    Solid and attractive

    This cabinet‑style cage is well made and the acrylic front wasn’t warped. Assembly was similar to typical flat‑pack furniture and the latches do snap shut. Minor issues: the cabinet doors are slightly misaligned, the light occasionally powers on by itself, and the rear panel comes in two pieces so there’s a middle seam to note for escape‑minded pets. Overall I’ve had it for two months and it’s perfect for my Syrian.
