VINGLI Mid-Century Chenille Accent Armchair — Compact Living Room Chair
Review
Premium comfort and lasting support — The seat combines individually wrapped pocket coils with a layer of high-density foam so the cushion resists sagging while offering a cozy place for reading, short naps, or watching TV.
Designed for smaller spaces — Exterior dimensions are 29.9" W x 30.7" D x 33" H with a seat measuring 22.8" W x 20" D and a seat height of 18.1". This compact profile fits apartments, bedrooms, and tight living areas; verify seat measurements before ordering to ensure a proper fit.
Durable construction with a generous weight limit — A reinforced solid-wood and steel frame provides strength and stability, rated to support up to 380 lbs. The armrests are made with FSC-certified wood, and the 6.7" tapered legs leave clearance underneath for floor cleaning devices.
Mid-century inspired styling — Clean silhouettes, wide track arms, and tapered wooden legs give this chair a timeless look that coordinates with modern, mid-century, and transitional interiors, making it suitable as a living room accent, bedroom seat, or reading chair.
Quick assembly and care — Hardware and step-by-step instructions are included for a 15-minute setup; no extra tools are required. Cushions arrive vacuum-packed and typically regain their shape within 48–72 hours. All cushion covers unzip for easy removal and are machine-washable.
Soft, breathable chenille upholstery — The chair is finished in a textured chenille fabric that feels warm and inviting, bringing tactile comfort and subtle visual interest to your space.

Really like this chair
Very comfortable and chenille is easy to keep clean. It delivers the look and feel without the high showroom cost.

Weak legs, unstable build
Poor quality overall. The legs are warped and the chair doesn’t feel sturdy at all.

Great chair for my decor
Love the blue—more of a jeans-blue that matches my room. Simple assembly, comfortable, and attractive. I’d recommend this for guest seating in a living area.

Stop looking — buy these
After researching I chose the olive and am glad I did. They feel sturdy, are normal-sized (not tiny), and assembled very easily—basically snap and hand-screw. They filled out the same day after unboxing; the olive is a bit more muted than the photos but beautiful.

Looks great and meets expectations
For my accent needs this chair worked perfectly. It arrived in a small box with vacuum-sealed parts, snapped together in under 10 minutes, and the fabric and color matched the listing. Comfortable and sharp-looking.

Order two — pleasantly surprised
Extremely pleased with these chairs. They were simple to assemble and feel roomy and sturdy. I’ve sat in one for a couple of hours and stayed comfortable. The blue reads like a soft denim in a chenille blend. Big guys over 6' are fine in them. I'd buy again.

Solid chair but a visible seam
Overall a very good chair — color and fabric are on point and it's comfortable. My unit has a misaligned seam at the zipper on the back, which looks odd when positioned so the back is visible. Assembly was easy and under 30 minutes solo. Still recommend despite the flaw.

Multiple issues, waiting on refund
I ordered dark green but received dark blue. Cushions were vacuum-wrapped and the foam interior looks stitched oddly and bulges; I had to force the cushion into place. Fabric felt synthetic and the wooden back seems lower than advertised, hitting mid-back. Arms are padded though. I’m still waiting on a refund resolution.

Great option for small living areas
Needed a pair to fit a crowded living room and these work well. Low-pile chenille that doesn’t shed, fairly firm — not ideal for long curled-up naps but perfect for chatting. At 5'6" I fit comfortably; my 6'3" partner fit but the support stops short of the knees.

Not worth what I paid
Assembly was frustrating—aligning fasteners in the pre-drilled spots is hard and can risk tearing fabric. Chairs are smaller than they appear online and feel very average in size. I expected better fit and finish.
