Freestanding Egg Swing Chair with Stand — PE Rattan & Plush Cushion (350 lb)

Review

Ergonomic egg-shaped basket seat paired with an extra-thick plush cushion offers full-body support. The roomy design is meant for relaxing, reading, napping or unwinding after a long day, creating a private comfort nook.

The oversized beige cushion includes a zippered removable cover so spills and dust can be machine washed. The soft fill keeps its shape for extended sitting and detaches easily for cleaning or replacement.

Hand-woven PE rattan is treated to resist UV fading and repel water, so the weave won't crack or discolor from sunlight or light exposure to rain. The synthetic wicker maintains a consistent texture for prolonged outdoor use on balconies, patios or in gardens.

This freestanding hanging chair arrives with the hanging basket, plush cushion, curved metal stand, hanging hardware and basic assembly tools. It’s designed to complement bedrooms, living rooms, balconies and outdoor lounge areas to elevate your décor and seating options.

A thick, curved steel stand provides the primary load-bearing support and is rated for up to 350 lbs. The frame is finished for weather resistance and the manufacturer offers customer support and replacement parts for assembly issues, missing pieces or damage.

Pros

  • Comfortable, oversized cushioned seat
  • Weather-resistant hand-woven PE rattan
  • Sturdy curved metal stand supports 350 lbs

Cons

  • Requires assembly; some parts may need adjustment
  • Bolted wicker sections can be noticeable
  • Cushion color may differ slightly from photos

VerdictA cozy, oversized egg-style hanging chair that doubles as a statement seat indoors or on a patio. The plush, machine-washable cushion and hand-woven PE rattan resist sun and light rain, while the heavy-duty curved metal stand holds up to 350 lbs. Assembly is required; most users find it comfortable and sturdy, though a few report alignment or hardware issues that customer service can help resolve.

Perfect gift — she uses it daily

Bought this for my daughter for the holidays. Assembly had a moment where holes didn’t line up perfectly, but we adjusted and it’s solid. She sits in it every day.

    Sturdy but smaller than expected

Bought for my daughter; the seat is more compact than pictured and the wicker is bolted in sections. The steel frame is solid and heavy. It squeaked until my husband added rubber tape around the hook bolt; fix worked. Daughter loves it, so we kept it.

    Construction concerns and missing hardware

The plastic wicker sections didn’t fit together cleanly, so the bolts wouldn’t seat as intended. It arrived with the hardware box open and a few screws missing.

Exactly what I wanted — easy setup

Lovely wicker egg chair and straightforward to assemble. I gifted it to my sister and we both use it a lot. Seller support was quick and helpful with any questions.
