Age-appropriate and durable
We bought two — one for a 5-year-old and one for a 3-year-old. Both learned the transformation quickly. The joints are a bit stiff at first but loosen after a few plays. Heads have popped off occasionally but are easy to reattach. Good value.

Good build and easy to transform
This Optimus Prime is simple to switch between robot and truck and the plastic feels tougher than expected. Details on the head and vehicle parts are well done. It arrives well packaged and is the advertised 11 inches. I’d say it’s fine for younger kids too, as there aren’t loose small pieces. Overall I’m pleased with the quality and will watch how it holds up over time.
