Coco Coir Non-Slip Doormat 17x30 — Paw Print Entry Mat
Review
Includes one doormat measuring approximately 17 by 30 inches.
Made from 100% natural coconut coir, the fibers are coarse and effective at scraping mud and grime from shoe soles. Because coir is a natural material, you may notice light shedding during handling and occasional color release when the mat becomes wet. To protect underlying surfaces, consider an undersheet and allow the mat to dry completely after soaking.
The face features a diagonal run of black paw prints to add personality to a front door or interior entry. The printed design is bold to stand out on covered porches, mudrooms, and cabins.
A rubberized, non-slip backing helps keep the mat stable while people wipe their feet, reducing shifting and bunching. The backing also gives the mat resting stability on top of another rug or on a stoop.
At 30 by 17 inches, the mat is large enough to accommodate two people side-by-side but compact enough not to overwhelm a single door. Best used under an awning or indoors—avoid prolonged exposure to direct rain for longest life.
Pros
- Durable 100% coconut coir bristles
- Stable rubberized non-slip backing
- Clear paw-print design adds character
Cons
- Some initial fiber shedding
- May release natural color when wet
- Not intended for unprotected outdoor exposure
VerdictThis natural coco coir doormat is a solid choice for anyone wanting heavy-duty scraping power and a pet-friendly design. The 100% coconut fibers provide robust bristles that remove dirt before it reaches floors, and the rubberized grip on the back helps the mat stay put. Expect some initial fiber shedding and possible natural color transfer when wet, so place it under a protected entry or use an u

Well made and attractive
A nicely constructed mat that has held up well and hasn’t faded in sun where I placed it. It’s a good large size and the backing prevents slipping. Worth the cost for the quality.

Matches our aesthetic
Good quality and a fun design — fits the look we have on our stoop. Decent construction.

Dependable for muddy paws
We always use coir mats outside. This one cleans dogs’ feet well and hoses off easily. It lies flat and hasn’t blown around in wind or rain.

Well designed and robust
I’m very satisfied — the mat feels well built, stays in place, and the coir fibers do a good job at trapping dirt. A little fiber loss at first, which is typical, but otherwise a practical and attractive product.

Solid, practical choice
Sturdy and attractive — this replaced an old worn mat and does a great job scraping shoes. The rubber base helps it stay put and gives a finished feel.

Classic style and feel
Chose a simple border look and am pleased with the thickness and texture. Feels higher quality than typical coir mats and should last a long time.

Looks great on my stoop
Wanted a more natural look and this fit the space perfectly. My only small gripe is the rubber backing—functional, but not my favorite texture.

Size was incorrect
The mat I received did not match the listed dimensions.

Mat stained porch when soaked
Very disappointing. After a heavy soaking the mat bled a brown fluid that stained our concrete porch. Scrubbing and hosing didn’t remove the discoloration. I can’t recommend it for surfaces you want to keep pristine if the mat may get drenched.

Lovely, sturdy coir mat
This is one of the better coir mats I've bought. It feels thicker and more solid than many online options and the size is just right. It sheds a bit when handled but not once in place. The painted paw pattern looks saturated and should hold up. Overall very happy and would recommend for someone wanting a heavy-duty, attractive mat.
