Clear 3D Floating Shadow Box Frame for Coins, Medals & Trinkets
Review
What you get: one compact shadow box measuring 4.3 x 4.3 x 0.8 inches and a pair of plastic supports to stand the frame upright.
Construction: the frame is formed from lightweight plastic and uses two durable PET membranes that clamp together to hold objects. The presentation window—the visible area within the frame—is approximately 3.7" x 3.7". Items are sandwiched between the transparent films so they appear to float in the center of the frame.
How to use it: open the frame, place your medal, challenge coin, medallion, piece of jewelry, poker chip, leaf specimen or other small collectible between the two clear films, press the frame closed, and set it on the included stands or prop it on a shelf. The flexible film secures items without scratching and makes both sides visible in many cases.
Suitability: compact and lightweight, this display is ideal for single small keepsakes or slim paired items that fit within the viewing area. It provides dust protection and a neat, museum-like presentation while remaining easy to set up and rearrange.
Pros
- Creates a convincing floating effect
- Durable PET film protects without marring items
- Small, lightweight and includes stands
Cons
- Viewing area is limited to 3.7" square
- Not heavy-duty for very thick objects
- Loose items may need a tiny adhesive spot to stay centered
VerdictThis small floating-frame offers an attractive, low-profile way to show a single coin, medallion or tiny heirloom without adhesive or drilling. The PET membranes create a clean suspended display, the plastic frame and stands are sturdy enough for shelves, and the compact footprint fits into most display groupings. Best for items that fit the 3.7" viewing square.

Protects and highlights beaded gifts
I use these to package beaded items for gifts and to show pieces in our studio. They protect the items and give a distinctive look that draws visitors' attention during open studio events.

Nice for one or two coins
Very nice option for framing one or two coins. You can see both sides when arranged properly.

Does exactly what it should
Holds a coin and a small card just as expected. Photos suggested it might fit two coins, but that depends entirely on their size—measure first. Setup is simple and the clear film keeps items in place; not fancy, but effective and inexpensive.

Solid, professional-looking case for badges
I used this to show a badge and it looks excellent. The presentation is clean and feels durable. I’ve owned a smaller version for coins before and both sizes hold items securely, making them perfect for treasured keepsakes.

Excellent way to showcase large challenge coins
Picked up several of these to show my challenge coins and they really pop since they appear suspended. The clear film grips coins without scratching and the frame plus stands feel stable on a desk or shelf. A great protective display for commemorative pieces.

Handy little frame for small badges
Bought this to keep my Volvo Heritage badges off the car and on display. It looked a bit cheesy in photos but is actually nice. The fit was a touch loose so I added a tiny dab of adhesive to keep each badge centered.
