25 ft Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cable — 10Gbps, 24 AWG Bare Copper, Gold RJ45
Review
High-performance cabling for everyday and professional use: this Cat6 patch cord is a 25-foot, unshielded twisted pair cable built with 24 AWG bare copper conductors to carry data with low loss and stable impedance.
Connector and jacket details: each end has a gold-plated RJ45 plug to resist corrosion and maintain contact integrity. The plugs are protected by molded, snagless boots that reduce strain on the connector and prevent the retaining clip from catching when running cable through tight spaces or patch panels.
Bandwidth and compatibility: rated to handle up to 550 MHz, this cable supports multi-gigabit traffic and is suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short runs. It is backward-compatible with existing Cat5e infrastructure and manufactured to meet or exceed Category 6 performance per TIA/EIA-568-C.2 guidelines.
Power over Ethernet support: the cable is engineered to carry PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ power levels for powering devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points while transporting data simultaneously.
Typical applications: use this cord for connecting desktops, switches, routers, NAS devices, gaming consoles, access points, and surveillance cameras. The 25-foot length is useful when devices are some distance from wall ports or network racks.
Installation tip: measure the full routing path — around furniture, along baseboards or through conduits — before choosing the length. Allow extra slack to accommodate repositioning or cable routing changes.
Pros
- 24 AWG bare copper for low loss and stable signals
- Gold-plated RJ45 with snagless strain relief
- Supports up to 550 MHz and PoE/PoE+/PoE++
Cons
- Unshielded construction may not suit noisy electrical environments
- 25 ft may be longer than needed for some installs
- Stiffer than thinner patch cords when tightly routed
VerdictA solid, no-frills Cat6 patch cable that delivers dependable wired connectivity. The 24 AWG bare copper conductors and gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide consistent signal quality, while the snagless molded boots protect the latching tab during installation. With up to 550 MHz bandwidth and compatibility with PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ devices, this cable is ready for demanding home and small-business app

Reliable choice for longer cable runs
I’ve used this brand before and the 25-foot length is ideal when you don’t want to make a custom run. Works well for switches, APs, cameras and VoIP gear. The snagless connector makes routing through racks easier and protects the clip during installs. Feels robust without being excessively stiff.

Highly recommended for heavy downloads
Great cable for large file downloads while gaming or editing. I previously used Cat7 but switched to this full-copper Cat6 and haven’t experienced disconnects while transferring big files.

Cat6 when you want headroom
Needed a short cable for modem-to-router and chose Cat6 for future-proofing. Reinforced RJ45 plugs help prevent tab damage. For many homes Cat5e would work, but Cat6 gives extra margin and longevity.

Sturdy cable that performs reliably
Solid feel thanks to the 24 AWG conductors and consistent throughput with no unexpected drops. It’s a bit on the rigid side, but that hasn’t interfered with everyday use. Good, dependable cable for typical networking needs.

Does the job without fuss
Once installed it disappears into the setup — exactly what you want from a patch cable. Secure connections, snagless design helps when unplugging, and I haven’t seen any packet losses or speed issues. Flexible enough to route around furniture and durable for regular use.

Fixed a printer connectivity nightmare
I had exhausted USB fixes for my printer and switched it to Ethernet using this cable. Hooked the printer to my router and the network took over — printing resumed instantly with no extra setup. Plug-and-play, sturdy, and it restored functionality after days of troubleshooting. Very pleased.
