2.4GHz USB Wireless Optical Mouse for Laptop/PC/Mac — Purple, 4000 DPI
Review
Plug-and-play connection: insert a single AA battery (not included) and slide the USB-A nano receiver into your computer’s port — no drivers required. The receiver stows in a compartment on the underside of the mouse for safe transport. The wireless link uses 2.4GHz technology and is rated to operate reliably up to about 33 ft (10 m), minimizing interference for typical home and office setups.
Adjustable sensitivity: choose among five DPI presets — 800, 1200, 1600, 2400 and 4000 — to tailor cursor speed for tasks ranging from web browsing to detailed design work. The optical sensor is tuned to perform well on most common surfaces.
Six-button layout: left/right click, scroll wheel, DPI selector, plus two side buttons for forward/back navigation. Note that those side navigation buttons may not register on macOS machines. Controls are arranged for quick access to common browsing and navigation functions.
Battery and power management: powered by a single AA battery (not supplied). Intelligent sleep mode activates after approximately eight minutes of inactivity to conserve power and any button press will wake the mouse. A red LED indicates low battery so you know when to replace the cell. There is no dedicated on/off switch.
Comfort and construction: housed in a durable plastic shell with an ergonomic, contoured profile designed to reduce hand strain during extended sessions. Switches are tested for long life — rated for around 5,000,000 clicks — for reliable day-to-day use.
Compatibility and portability: works with a wide range of systems including legacy and modern Windows versions and macOS (note side-button behavior above). The compact, lightweight form factor makes it easy to carry in a laptop bag; some tablets may need a USB-C adapter to accept the receiver.
Pros
- Instant plug-and-play setup with compact receiver storage
- Five DPI levels up to 4000 for flexible pointer control
- Long battery runtime with automatic sleep to save power
Cons
- No physical on/off switch
- Side buttons may not be recognized on macOS
- Some users may prefer a different color tone than pictured
VerdictA simple, dependable wireless mouse geared for everyday computing and travel. It connects instantly with the tiny USB receiver tucked under the mouse, offers multiple DPI steps for precision, and adds convenience with forward/back buttons. Battery life and a power-saving sleep mode keep maintenance minimal. The design is comfortable for extended use and built to last, though side-button behavior v

Works exactly as advertised
Very pleased — comfortable design and incredibly easy to get running. It worked smoothly from the moment I plugged it in. A dependable, straightforward option if you need a basic wireless mouse.

Good functionality but missing a power switch
Plug-and-play is wonderful and the DPI choices are handy for presentations. It’s responsive with no lag. My issue is the lack of an on/off switch — it relies on sleep mode — and I suspect I received a returned unit because it arrived with a battery and loose packaging.

Handy but needs a wake click
A straightforward wireless mouse that suits my needs. I docked a star because it goes to sleep and I have to click it to wake it instead of just moving it, which caught me out a few times.

Ideal lightweight travel mouse
Great for travel — tiny receiver and simple setup. The ergonomic profile is comfortable for long work sessions and the buttons/scroll wheel are intuitive. A reliable, portable option if you need a spare mouse on the road.

Simple setup — great for non-techy users
Very user-friendly mouse. I’m not tech savvy, but this was effortless: pop in an AA battery, plug the tiny USB receiver into the laptop and it worked right away. Color was a bit more muted than I expected — more beige-pink than baby pink — but still pleasant. Comfortable in hand and does the job well.

Surprisingly solid, hassle-free cross-platform mouse
I didn’t expect much for the price, but this mouse impressed me. Setup was truly plug-and-play — the nano receiver worked immediately with my laptop. The 2.4GHz link is stable and responsive, like a wired mouse. The six-button layout, especially the side buttons, speeds up navigating documents and web pages. Excellent no-frills addition to my desk.
