120 dB Door & Window Alarm — 1-Pack Wireless Entry Sensor
Review
High-volume warning: This single-unit security alarm produces a 120 dB siren designed to warn you when a door or window opens. It’s rated to be heard at a significant distance and is intended to deter unauthorized exits or entries.
Power and indicators: The sensor is cordless and runs on three LR44 button cell batteries, which are provided in the box. A built-in low-battery indicator notifies you when the cells should be replaced. Typical battery life is estimated between six and twelve months under normal use.
Mounting and operation: The kit includes adhesive double-sided tape for mounting the alarm housing and its magnetic counterpart on most flat surfaces. The device triggers when the gap between the alarm and magnet exceeds 15 mm (0.6 inches). No wiring or external hub is required.
Design and materials: The alarm’s casing is injection-molded plastic with a small detachable magnet piece; both parts are lightweight and unobtrusive. Its pared-down, modern look is intended to blend into homes, apartments, offices, pool gates and care environments.
What's in the box: Each pack contains one door/window alarm (with batteries installed) and a user manual to guide placement, battery replacement and quick setup.
Pros
- Very loud 120 dB audible alarm
- Battery-powered with low-battery indicator
- Quick, adhesive installation; no wiring
Cons
- No remote control or delay timer
- Battery life can be short with frequent triggers
- Only a single alarm included per pack
VerdictA compact, very loud magnetic sensor that provides a simple audible alert for doors and windows. Installation is quick with adhesive mounts and it runs on three LR44 batteries (supplied) with a low-battery reminder. Longevity and lack of remote control or delay options are trade-offs against its straightforward, inexpensive protection.

Does the job
Solid little security device. Very loud when triggered. My only gripe is the batteries don’t last as long as I hoped.

Battery life could improve
This little unit works well and is simple to use. I deducted stars because the battery seems to drain quicker than expected.

Arrived without batteries
Package arrived yesterday but had no batteries included. I haven’t been able to use it yet because there were none installed or supplied.

Good short-term pool gate alert
We used it during a weekend gathering with toddlers and a pool. The siren is loud enough to get attention and it installed quickly. Kids figured out how to silence it, so it wasn’t foolproof long-term, but it served its purpose for the event.

Really loud and compact
The alarm is surprisingly powerful for its size and will startle anyone opening the door. Stick both pieces to a clean, flat surface for best adhesion. Lacks any programmable delay or remote on/off feature.

Tiny but effective
My door frame made placement tricky so I mounted the magnet on the outside, but the unit is discreet. Extremely loud for its size and it now wakes the household when my grandma, who has early dementia, opens the door.

Stopped functioning after two months
Mine began as a painful shriek but became a static buzz after about eight weeks. Swapping batteries didn’t help. Note: product photos online include different finishes; my unit was silver/black, not the plain white shown elsewhere.

Perfect for nighttime exits
Bought this for my father with dementia who sometimes leaves at night. The alarm wakes me and prompts him to close the door instead of going outside. Surprisingly loud for such a small unit.

Helps keep an Alzheimer’s patient safe
I needed something simple after my mother wandered out once. This is very loud and easy to attach; it alerts the household immediately when the door opens and has helped me relax when she visits.
