Heavy-Duty Shop Towels — 60 Sheets/Roll, 12-Roll Pack
Review
This pack contains twelve rolls, each roll holding sixty individual shop towel sheets, sized for hand use and workshop tasks. The towels are made using a HydroKnit-style construction that gives the sheets a cloth-like feel while remaining disposable when you’re finished.
Manufactured to withstand wet conditions, the fabric is engineered to be about three times stronger when wet compared with the original paper-style shop towels, and it will not shred easily during heavy scrubbing. The material is also solvent-resistant, allowing you to wipe away uncured epoxies, grease, oils, and many common workshop solvents without the towel disintegrating.
Intended uses include cleaning greasy tools and parts, soaking up oil and fuel spills, applying and wiping away solvents and finishes, and general shop maintenance. Because the sheets absorb oil and liquids effectively, they’re useful for both wiping and light scrubbing. Keep a roll in an auto shop, home garage, or woodworking bench for routine cleanup and project work.
Pros
- Very durable when wet
- Resistant to common solvents
- High absorbency for oils and fluids
Cons
- Disposable — not a reusable cloth substitute
- May feel rough on delicate surfaces when dry
- Some users prefer different sheet sizes
VerdictThese heavy-duty shop towels deliver durable performance for demanding cleaning and maintenance tasks. With HydroKnit construction that holds together when wet and solvent resistance for use with cleaners and thinners, they handle oil, grease, and spills well. Good for garages and DIY work, though some users may prefer reusable cloths for repeat use.

Quality but becoming pricier
They’re well-made for garage use, but recent cost increases mean I’m considering other options.

Durable and handy in the woodshop
We keep these in the woodshop for many tasks. They’re disposable but behave more like cloth, so one sheet can last through several jobs. I keep reordering them.

Stays intact when cleaning epoxy
They hold together while I use acetone to remove uncured epoxy from mixing cups and tools. Regular paper towels fall apart; these stand up to solvents.

Good value and gentle on surfaces
Easy to use and durable; they don’t tend to scratch bodywork much. Best to use damp to avoid abrasion.

Convenient and reusable by wringing
I’ve used them for a while. They dry fast, are stretchy when wet so you can wring them out and reuse, and one roll lasts through swaps of clean sheets.
