FitPlus PowerGrip T9 Reacher Grabber Tool — 32" Foldable Grabber w/Magnet
Review
What’s included
One FitPlus PowerGrip T9 reacher grabber tool (32-inch extended length) with integrated magnet at the tip.
Construction and materials
The shaft uses a lightweight aluminum frame supported by a steel cable drive for jaw actuation. The head pads are rubberized and textured with multiple raised contact points (96 grip nubs) to prevent slipping, while the trigger and handle are molded for comfort. The jaw uses a spring-assisted mechanism for controlled clamping.
Dimensions and features
Fully extended the tool provides roughly a 32-inch reach to avoid bending or stretching. The head rotates to allow both horizontal and vertical approaches, and a folding hinge collapses the shaft for compact storage. A small magnet on the jaw helps retrieve ferrous items like screws or keys.
How to use it
Squeeze the ergonomic trigger to close the jaw around an item; release to open. It’s intended for retrieving objects from the floor, shelves, or behind furniture, and is suitable for tasks like picking up paper, coins, bottles, pills, garden debris, and laundry. The design reduces the need to bend, making it useful for individuals recovering from surgery, living with limited mobility, or those who want to avoid strain.
Pros
- Lightweight aluminum body for easy handling
- Textured rubber jaw with many grip points and a magnetic tip
- Foldable shaft and rotating head for versatile reach and storage
Cons
- Grip can be less secure on very small or slick items
- Folding hinge may be vulnerable if dropped or mishandled
- Magnet only picks up ferrous metals, not all coins or alloys
VerdictA practical mobility aid that balances low weight with surprisingly secure jaws. It excels at routine pick-ups—coins, cans, clothing, and small household items—and folds for easy storage. Grip performance can vary on tiny or slippery pieces, and the folding joint needs careful handling, but overall it’s a dependable tool for seniors, post-op recovery, and general use.

Ergonomic and reliable
Great for avoiding bending because of disc issues. Helps me grab even small items in the fridge or on the floor. Comfortable handle and dependable grip.

Lifesaver after surgery
Post-op I couldn’t bend. This tool was lightweight but could lift fairly heavy things and was precise enough for small objects like bills. Used it for laundry, picking up items, everything.

Works, but grip could improve
Useful overall and the rotating head is handy. Trigger is smooth, but the claw sometimes fails on very small pieces. I’d buy another with a firmer, more precise jaw.

Broken after a drop
Worked great for about eight months, then I dropped it and the fold point cracked where it bends. Otherwise performance was fine.

Saved me after a fall
After multiple fractures I relied on a walker and this reacher. It’s easy to maneuver and surprisingly sturdy. I can even retrieve a pill from the floor. I expect it will remain useful well beyond my recovery.

Excellent part. Very good quality, light and easy to handle. Grips small and flat items securely. Adjustable jaw is ideal, though a bit stiff to set. Great value.

Sturdy but a bit short for me
Durable and stable tool, though I wish the reach were a little longer (I’m tall). Otherwise performs well.
