4-Tier Wooden Cupcake Stand — Tiered Dessert Display, Dark Brown
Review
A substantial four-tier cupcake display composed of four square shelves—measuring 12", 10", 8" and 6"—that stack on a central metal post. The kit includes the four detachable boards and the metal support hardware needed for assembly.
Each shelf is manufactured from high-density fiberboard with a dark wood finish and a wipeable protective coating to help repel frosting smears and light spills. The center support is metal, designed to keep the tiers aligned and resist bending during use. Total unit weight is approximately 1.6 kg, giving it a heavier, more solid feel compared with lightweight plastic towers.
Tool-free, intuitive assembly takes only a few minutes: position each board onto the post and secure them in place. The removable shelves allow flexible stacking order and compact storage when not in use. Rated to hold a substantial load (around 22 lb), it’s intended to remain level without sagging when loaded with assorted desserts.
Cleanup is simple — a damp cloth restores the finish — and the protective surface means the stand is suitable for repeated use at events, buffets, craft fairs, or home parties. Its farmhouse-style dark wood grain fits casual and semi-formal setups, while the design also works as a general display riser for pastries, cookies, or small decorative items.
Designed to serve a wide range of occasions, this tiered display is marketed for birthdays, weddings, showers, holiday gatherings and vendor booths. The removable boards and metal core make it a versatile presentation piece that converts easily between different dessert or display arrangements.
Pros
- Stable metal center post with heavy HDF shelves
- Quick, tool-free assembly and compact storage
- Wipeable finish resists frosting and spills
Cons
- Shelves are HDF laminate, not solid hardwood
- May need occasional tightening after transport
- Requires dry cleaning—avoid soaking
VerdictA sturdy, rustic-style tiered display that balances attractive dark-wood looks with practical construction. The HDF shelves and metal center column create a stable platform that’s quick to set up and simple to maintain, ideal for bakers and hosts who need a dependable, reusable dessert stand.

Disappointed — construction issues
I expected basic quality but several dowels that separate the shelves were bent. If I’d had time I’d try a replacement because the design is cute but this one was flawed.

Attractive for the cost
They look nice overall. Keep in mind they are pressboard with a wood-look coating, not solid wood. Pieces can loosen and need occasional tightening, but they performed well for my event.

Rustic look and solid performance
This gave my dessert table a nicer, more rustic feel than clear plastic towers. Assembly took about five minutes and the shelves were secure. It stayed steady under a load and the different tier sizes made arranging cupcakes, cookies, and pops easy.

Worked well with minor fixes
Functioned as expected. One hole wasn’t drilled fully but it was an easy fix. Slight wobble at first but overall looked great on the table.

Capacity claims are misleading
Cute stand but won’t realistically hold 50 full-size cupcakes. When assembled it was slightly crooked and I had to bend pieces to line shelves up. You get what you pay for.
