Donkey Piñata for Fiesta & Birthday Parties — Party Piñata
Review
This listing includes one donkey-shaped piñata. Its dimensions are Height: 13.5 in, Width: 5 in, Length: 8.75 in, making it a compact, eye-catching addition to party décor or a game station.
Constructed from corrugated paperboard, the piñata keeps its shape well and holds fillers securely. The layered cardboard interior provides structure so it won’t collapse easily during handling or transport.
To fill, cut the opening at the top and add candies, small toys, confetti, or other favors (fillers not included). The top flap is easy to tuck back in so the filled cavity stays concealed until game time.
For very young children, the board can be a bit firm. If easier access is needed, use scissors to widen the opening or make a small cut to weaken the structure; this helps the piñata break more readily during play.
Use this colorful donkey piñata as a decorative focal point or as an activity centerpiece. It suits Cinco de Mayo celebrations, taco parties, luau-style events, birthday gatherings for children and adults, school festivities, and small carnivals.
Pros
- Vibrant, festive appearance
- Compact size fits small parties or displays
- Sturdy corrugated paperboard construction
Cons
- Smaller than some buyers expect
- May be too sturdy for very young children without pre-cutting
- Fillers are not included
VerdictA cheerful, traditional-style donkey piñata that brings instant fiesta vibes. It’s sturdy enough to hold treats and confetti thanks to corrugated paperboard construction, yet it isn’t so tough that it can’t be adapted for young children — simply enlarge the fill opening or pre-cut with scissors. Best used as a table accent or for a breaking game at birthday parties, Cinco de Mayo events, taco-them

Pretty but tiny
It’s lovely and colorful, yet extremely small — still very cute, though.

Denser inside than expected
I overlooked the size details; it arrived quite small and not fully hollow, with extra cardboard layers. I cut through a few sections to make room and could add more treats. The colors and finish still looked great.

Let down by size and build
Claimed to be large but it arrived quite small — fine for babies but too small for older kids and teens. The included stick was flimsy and the paper trim came off easily. Materials felt low-end and the listing should reflect the true size.

Good construction
Well-made piñata. The children spent a long time trying to break it, and it was simple to fill.

Very small indeed
Very cute design, but much smaller than we had in mind.

Perfect as a decorative accent
I used this as a decoration at my party. It was a bit smaller than I imagined but very well made and colorful. It wouldn’t be the easiest to smash for little ones, so a pull-string type might be better for toddlers, but it was ideal for decoration.

Just right for a first birthday
Perfect size for my daughter’s first birthday. It took quite a few hits so the game lasted and kept the kids entertained. We filled it with little toys and sweets. It included the bat and blindfold and the colors were very bright.

Solidly made, maybe too solid
Nice alternative and better quality than I expected. Quite sturdy — perhaps a bit too much for small children; adults had to swing hard.

Big hit with four-year-olds
The piñata was a success and the kids were delighted. There were no candies included, so I added small toys and temporary tattoos.

Kid-friendly and easy to stuff
Used it at a fiesta-themed party and it fit the décor nicely. A top flap made stuffing simple and easy to hide. Kids enjoyed taking swings; it lasted long enough for everyone to have a turn. Smaller than pictured but served its purpose.
