Silicone Bowl Scraper with Stainless-Steel Core — Flexible Dough & Bench Scraper
Review
Construction and materials: Each scraper contains a thin stainless-steel sheet at its center for backbone and strength. That metal core prevents the folding and deformation common with cheap plastic scrapers. Wrapped over the core is a food-grade silicone surface that provides flexibility, heat resistance and a non-scratch finish. The silicone keeps the edges smooth so you don’t mar bowls or containers and also makes the tool comfortable to grip.
Design features: The tool is shaped with both a curved edge and a straight edge to serve multiple tasks. The broad curved profile conforms to the interior of mixing bowls and proofing containers, so it reaches into corners and lifts sticky dough cleanly. The flat, straight side is suitable for cutting portions, dividing dough and working on the bench when a gentler blade is acceptable.
Size and set: Each scraper measures approximately 5.98" x 4.3", a size chosen to balance hand comfort and surface coverage. Two scrapers are included, giving you a spare for simultaneous use, different tasks or as a backup.
Uses and versatility: While ideal for bread and sourdough dough, these scrapers also handle batter, fondant, pizza, cream, chocolate, cheese and other sticky foods. Beyond baking, they’re handy for scraping residue from pans, griddles, boards, plates and counters—useful for both food prep and cleanup.
Care and storage: The nonstick silicone surface rinses clean easily and these scrapers are dishwasher safe. Each piece has a small hanging hole so you can store them on a hook to save drawer space.
Pros
- Stainless-steel core adds strength and longevity
- Food-grade silicone protects bowls and hands
- Dual curved and straight edges for multiple tasks
Cons
- Not as rigid as a full metal bench scraper
- Edges flex slightly under heavy, repeated force
- Takes more passes on flat counters than metal scrapers
VerdictThese two-piece silicone scrapers combine a rigid stainless-steel core with a soft, food-safe silicone exterior to deliver a versatile bench and bowl tool. The dual-profile edges—curved for scraping bowls and arced surfaces, straight for cutting and dividing—make them useful from mixing to shaping. They’re thicker and more durable than flimsy plastic scrapers, gentle on vessels, and convenient to

Solid purchase
I like these scrapers so far. They don’t flex like cheap plastic scrapers and feel durable. Great for bowl work and on the counter, though the edges do give a little under pressure.

Exceeded expectations
Better than I thought. I wanted more than one, so I bought this pair. Well made and attractive colors.

Pleasantly surprised
I hadn’t realized there was a thin metal core—after 30 years of using plastic scrapers this is different. The core lets you push into dough when needed and they clean up nicely.

Handy for pottery
I use these for slab building in pottery. Large, sturdy but still soft enough to compress slabs—very useful. Glad I have two.

Reliable and simple
Cleans the bowl, portions and cuts dough. Stiff enough to do the job well.

Sturdy, flexible — a clear upgrade
I bake a lot of sourdough and these scrapers quickly became daily tools. The metal core gives enough stiffness to tackle heavy dough without folding like plastic ones, while the silicone edge bends to the bowl. The curved side really pulls every bit of dough free and the straight side works well for dividing. They don’t scratch my bowls and wash off easily, even in the dishwasher.

Does what I needed
Gets the leftover dough out of the bowl with no waste and cleans up quickly. Good value and seems built to last after a month of twice-weekly use.

Perfect fit for my mixer bowl
The small rounded end reaches into my KitchenAid bowl easily. The colors are nice and the scrapers are pleasantly thick but still a bit flexible. The grip feels better than cheap plastic ones; they seem very durable.

Excellent scraper
Quality feels very high. A bit pricier than the cheapest options but well worth it. I’d recommend them and expect they’ll last a long time.

Great for bowls, not for heavy bench work
Well made and sturdy, but the flexible edge means you’ll need extra passes if you’re used to a metal bench scraper. Excellent at getting dough out of bowls.

Good quality overall
A touch pricey but good materials. Easy to hand-wash or run in the dishwasher. Curved and straight edges make them versatile; not quite as precise for portioning as a metal or wooden scraper, but great from bowl to bench.
